As part of its ongoing growth plan, ESTAMA UK has confirmed it has won contracts to manage three new shopping centres in Northamptonshire, Cheshire, and County Durham.

Weston Favell Shopping Centre is located on the edge of Northampton and comprises 330,000 sq ft of retail space with 89 units across 2 levels. The scheme is anchored by a 153,455 sq. ft Tesco food store, alongside other major retailers including McDonald’s, Costa, Burger King and Poundland.
Birchwood Shopping Centre is a grocery-anchored community shopping centre, located in five miles from the centre of Warrington in Cheshire. The centre extends to 372,917 sq. ft and has 63 units. It is anchored by a 108,814 sq. ft. Asda food store. Other key retailers are Aldi, Costa, Home Bargains, McDonald’s, Sports Direct, and Subway.
Byron Place Shopping Centre is located in Seaham on the North-East coast, south of Sunderland in County Durham. It covers 115,378 sq. ft and has 21 units it is anchored by a 42,000 sq. ft Asda food store, other key retailers include Subway, Home Bargains, B&M and Costa. Poundland have just opened in a new 22,000 sq. ft store before Christmas.
The three centres have a combined annual footfall of more than 11 million people.

The appointments take ESTAMA UK’s total asset management sites to 17 across the country. They are the first new instructions to have been confirmed since announcing its transition to Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) status earlier this year.
